Audiobooks.com: Get audiobooks App Reviews

Very good app! My son loves listening to audiobooks. My only pet peeve is that it is not possible to listen on a laptop or a desktop unless you are connected to the internet. This is possible to do if you are listening on your phone or tablet, but audiobooks.com doesnt allow downloads onto your computer.

I havent listened to more than one book yet, but I enjoy the interface and its clarity in navigation and display. I had a technical issue but their customer service replied quickly and took good care of me.

Just listened to Camino Island by John Grisham and the experience was excellent. The app is seamless and very user friendly. You dont have to do any guesswork when trying to navigate through the listening experience.

I listened to Lothaire by Kresley Cole and I love this app! This made it easy to listen to and devour the book! 10/10 would recommend to a friend!!

I saw a lot of good reviews and was excited to try this app. I dont think you should waste your time on this app at all. I bought a book one time and then canceled my membership the next month and they still charged me. They told me I wouldnt get my money back but I could purchase another book. Like it doesnt make sense at all. If you purchase a book its a monthly subscription. Id rather just go to the store and buy a book and not have to pay every month to read it. This app is complete bull****! How could you not give me my money back after I cancelled my subscription and deleted this stupid app!!! Not worth it at all!! Youll be loosing money!! If I could rate it a 0 I would!

App is great, especially for me because I travel so much.

Id prefer the chapers be labeled not just tracks.

Audiobooks is super easy to use - able to download audiobooks fast. I was going on a road trip and Audible wouldnt let me download the book I wanted (well it then...but then said it wasnt available for listening to until a week later. After I needed it for a long drive) Audiobooks made it easy and was good quality!

I just started and there are a lot of book and app is super easy to use. Good for my time in the car

I listened to Dresden Files Ghost Story and it was great. I love all the features, especially the sleep timer.

I love this app! Its free options are easier to navigate than Audible and I like how it rewinds a few seconds when I hit play again. Highly recommend!

Im using this app to get ahead in my reading for class, and its helped a great amount! Parable Of The Sower is a great book. Thanks to Audiobooks.com I dont have to worry about my dyslexia keeping me back in school!

With over a two hour commute, this app is a must. So easy to use and very convenient!

Got the app especially to enjoy with my daughter on a long road trip. We both liked it so much to listen together and exchange ideas. The time easily passes and we did not want to put it down. I also used the timer option before going to sleep and found this to be a great tool to help relax after a long day. Glad I made this choice.

Overall its a good app... great selection and the audio quality of the unwanteds was good... the reason for 4 stars is that it is over priced but otherwise i enjoy this app. The quality of the free book I listened to... the island of dr Moreau was terrible however and I would appreciate more selection in the free section

So Im a HUGE audiobook listener. I work alone so having an audiobook going while I work is a must. I have both this app and the "audible" app. Both of these apps are very similar but this app has 2 perks that I really like, and one negative I think they should work on. Perks: 1) Say you just finish listening to a book in a series and you just cant wait to listen to the next book. However you are out of credits. Well if you have the audible all you have to pay full price for the book. Thats could be anywhere from $0- $50 (Depending on the book). BUT with the AUDIOBOOKS app you can just purchase another credit for a flat rate of $14.95!! I love this feature!! I spend way less because of it! When one credit a month isnt enough, this is the cheaper option. 2) Three words. IN APP PURCHASES! I loath having to log in to the actual website just to use a credit to download a book. With the audible app its the only way, and its way to time consuming. I love that i can search, preview, and purchase/use credit all in the Audiobooks app. Its quick, simple, and streamlined. For someone on the go like me Its a MUST! Okay, now the one downside: This app has a large selection of books, no doubt about it, but its not as large as the Audible app. I can find some books by an author, but not always all the books. Sometimes they dont even have all the books from the same series. That can be extremely frustrating. Now, I know that can have something to do with licensing with the distributer. I get that. But it has happened a few too many times (about 3 separate series and authors) . I can always find them on audible. This is the only reason I have given the app a 4 star instead of a 5 star. This app is still a must have in my opinion. Hope this helps and happy listening!!

I really enjoyed the book, Ransom, It was exciting and original. I will also say that I love the Audio books app! It really helped to have a few books to choose from my in library last week. I had a minor accident and as a result,I couldn’t open either eye without a considerable a mount of blurriness and pain. Because I had this reading app, I was able to lay in a dark room listen to a story and heal. So relaxing and yet interesting. Thanks Audio Books!
